Finished herringbone floor across a new-build living space in the Vale of Glamorgan

Herringbone floor, Vale of Glamorgan

The ground floor of a new-build house in the Vale of Glamorgan. About 120 square metres of herringbone, laid over four weeks with Coastline Tiling.

The floor prepared and matted before tiling

After

“It has been a hard four weeks, but taking on this job with Heskan Tilers has been an absolute delight. As a lot of tilers know, herringbone is an absolute pain and you have to be millimetre perfect, and to keep this up over 120m squared was a mission in itself.”

Kenny and Shéa

I'm Kenny. I've been tiling for over 30 years. Héskan is named after me and my son Shéa, who helps out when he's not busy with school.

We tile floors and walls: large-format tiles, natural stone, slate and herringbone. We're based in Cardiff and happy to travel for the right job.
